Libertarian World Campaign: Direct Democracy, Fair Ballots

Left, a transpartisan coalition formed by LIO Club users hold hearings on Florida, US election abuses (report: http://www.ERCPinellas.org ); right, Florida Governor Crist signs proposed measures. Coalition continues "nationally influential" (ACLU) work.
Supporters of the LIO non-partisan Libertarian Civic Forum are working to bring open federal democracy based on comparative practice, direct democracy initiatives, and fairer ballot procedures worldwide. Since the campaign began in 1976, numerous dictatorships have dissolved, initiative laws are spreading, and awareness increases of how ballot laws are used to silence independent or minor party candidates.
